Who We Are

The Milano Whisky Day, now in its sixth edition, was born from the same vision that gave life to the Milano Whisky Festival, conceived by Giuseppe Gervasio Dolci and Andrea Giannone. A project that, from the very beginning, set itself a clear goal: to spread an authentic and informed culture of Single Malt Scotch Whisky in Italy, going beyond trends and easy labels.

Like the Festival, the Milano Whisky Day is first and foremost a moment of meeting, discovery, and in-depth exploration. An event designed for those who truly drink whisky, study it, and respect it. For those who know that behind every bottle there are choices, risks, visions, and people.

This year’s edition pays tribute to Independent Bottlers, long regarded as the free soul and beating heart of the Single Malt world. They are the guardians of the most genuine side of Scotch Whisky: unconventional selections, uncompromising bottlings, and spirits that tell stories often forgotten.

Milano Whisky Day is also a celebration of memory and time. Absolute rarities are poured at the tastings: bottles that can no longer be found, releases from selectors that no longer exist, and whiskies from distilleries closed for over forty years. A liquid heritage that will never return, capable of surprising and leaving a lasting impression.

This is Milano Whisky Day: independent bottlers and selectors, true rarities, spirits that do not seek approval. Out-of-catalog stories, strong characters, radical choices.

Only genuine passion, free spirit, and the pleasure of drinking something that still has a soul.

Independent spirit. Pure passion.
